Biography

Dr Kaijian Hou, MD is currently the Director of Endocrinology Department, at Longhu Hospital, first Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University. He is also an Associate Professor in Master of Biomedical Engineering, at Arizona State University, USA. Dr. Hou has worked as a researcher in clinical research, INMED at the Medical Center of Maryland State University, USA. As first author, he has published seven SCI papers, and took the lead in developing the first intestinal flora intervention project for diabetes in South China. He is serving as editor in Universal Journal of Pharmaceutical Research, Pharmaceutical Bioprocessing journal, Journal of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Chemical Science. He is a member of American Diabetes Association, Alexandria, United States.
