I am an Associate Research Scholar in the Department of Physiology, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, USA. I have completed my B.S. in Pharmaceutical Engineering and M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China, in the year 2012. In 2015, I received my Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. From 2015-2018, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of Oklahoma, Institute for Natural Products Applications & Research Technologies (INPART), USA. I have published several papers in reputed journals. My research interests include synthetic/medicinal chemistry, and computational methods to develop chemical probes and therapeutic leads for unexploited targets implicated in pathogenesis; Angiogenesis and inflammation in diabetic complications; Vitamin A metabolism and retinal neurodegeneration.
