Aarti Nagayach attained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. She did her postdoc from LSUHSC, New Orleans and currently working at Cancer biology department in University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her research interest involves, glial neurobiology in various neurodegenerative diseases, animal cognition and behaviour, neuroregeneration and degeneration during peripheral nerve injury and Alzheimer’s disease, cellular and molecular mechanisms of diabetes and its complications including diabetic encephalopathy. Her current research focus is on the glial pathogenesis of TSC neurodevelopmental disorder.
