It gives us great pleasure to introduce readers with our international peer-reviewed, open access journal. Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is devoted to publish original research, reviews, and clinical reports on key areas of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and related fields. This journal aims to offer its readers important new information and ideas, intended to publish up-to-date information on various conditions.
The number of people in need of health services is increasing rapidly due to the aging population and the negativity of living conditions. This situation causes the health professionals to do more studies in this field. It is an important goal for these studies to reachout to relevant people and to gain more information.
Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will highlight work from leading workers related to key advances in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This peer-reviewed international journal serves as a best platform for researchers and clinicians to share their cutting-edge basic and clinical research on various therapy methods and rehabilitation techniques in providing comprehensive care and quality of life for individuals with physical impairments and disabilities. The journal publishes high quality research ideas and discoveries related to main subjects in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation such as acute and chronic pain, pediatric rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, speech and developmental disorders, spinal cord and brain injury stroke, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy, arthritis and other joint problems, prosthetics and orthotics. And, we are also interested in development of new rehabilitative technologies. We welcome physiatrists and rehabilitation professionals to publish their latest findings in our journal. We hope our journal will offer a discussion platform to both clinicians and academicians.
Being aware of this need, our journal is guided by multicultural and multidisciplinary editorial board. The richness of our journal is that our board does not prejudice and gives importance only to the quality of the work done. We understand by speaking to authors, the need for reducing the publication time from submission to publication. Therefore, we have decided to provide fast-track peer-review (14-18 days), rapid publication (3 business days from acceptance) and enhanced global visibility of published articles through open access. We are focusing on quality outcomes of relevant research that will empower the field of Rehabilitation in many ways. Our expert editorial panel will evaluate the articles and give suggestions for all articles submitted to the journal.
Our journal has very good achievement in a very short time. I sincerely believe that it would be a preferred journal in the field soon. I invite health professionals to send us their work and follow-up.
