Biography

Dr. Leila Saadatpour is a Neurology Resident in University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, USA. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from Laboratory of Habibeh Khoshbouei and completed her PhD from Department of Neuroscience, University of Florida, USA in 2017. She was certified from Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in 2017. Dr. Saadatpour has done medical intern for 18 months of intensive clinical rotations at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences’ Health services and affiliated hospitals, including: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, Cardiovascular diseases, Infectious diseases, Otolaryngology, Urology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery. Dr. Saadatpour is a Member of American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Medical Career Society, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan, Iran (2014-2015) and also Vice President of International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), Medical Students’ Research Committee, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan, Iran (2012-2014). Her research interests include Clinical Neurology, Movement Disorders and Palliative Medicine.
