Nagesh Pasupala is a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, USA. He completed his M.Sc in Biotechnology in 2004 and received Ph.D in Biochemistry in 2011 from the University of Hyderabad, India. Later in 2012, he moved on to pursue Postdoctoral research at the College of William and Mary, USA and Johns Hopkins University, USA. During his Postdoctoral research, he studied the role of post-translational protein modifiers SUMO and Ubiquitin in DNA damage repair and cell-cycle progression. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include SUMO and Ubiquitin mediated cell signaling, DNA damage repair, Cancer biology.
