Biography

Dr. Hong-Lei Chen is currently working as an Associate Professor from 2010, and also worked as Assistant, Instructor in Dept. of Pathology, School of Basic Medical Science, Wuhan University from 2002-2010.He worked as Postdoctoral Fellow in Dept. of Biochemistry, Rush University Medical Center, USA from May 2012-Aug 2013 and also as a Visiting Scientist in Dept. of Pathology, Fukushima Medical University, Japan from Sep 2015-Dec 2015. He worked as Visiting Associate Professor in Dept. of Translational Molecular Pathology, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas University, USA from June 2018-Sep 2019.

Dr. Hong-Lei Chen received Excellent Postgraduate of Wuhan University in 2002.He published more than 60 article in peer-reviewed journals. He is also an Ad hoc journal reviewer for many journals.

Research Interest

Research interest focus on the following three areas: 1) Tumor immunity and immunotherapy resistance mechanism; 2) autophagy, energy metabolism and carcinogenesis; and 3) the role of caveolin-1 in the development, progress and metastasis of cancer. The major goal of these studies is to clarify some novel mechanism on the invasion and metastasis of cancer.
