Dr. Feng Li is currently working as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. She received her Ph.D degree in the field of physiology and pharmacodynamics from University of Florida. As a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, she started to investigate the roles of genetic factors in various human common diseases/conditions using mouse models, including preeclampsia, diabetic complications, and acute kidney injury.
Roles of genetic/ environmental factors in preeclampsia
The beneficial roles of small molecule (e.g. nicotinamide) on preeclampsia and associated mechanisms
Genetic factors influence the severity of acute kidney injury and extra-renal organ damage
