Biography

Dr. Somaiah Chinnapaka is a Research Scientist in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. in Stem Cell and Cancer Biology from IIT Guwahati, India, and has completed postdoctoral training at UIC, University of Pittsburgh, and UT Southwestern. His research focuses on stem cell biology, cancer, fibrosis, aging, and adipose tissue regeneration. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at national and international conferences. Dr. Chinnapaka is also experienced in grant writing and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals in the fields of stem cell and cancer research.
