Biography

Dr. Mazin Abed Mohammed holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the College of Computer, University of Anbar, Iraq, a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Computing and Artificial Intelligence from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Malaysia. He is currently serving as an associate professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, College of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Anbar, Ramadi, Iraq. Dr. Mohammed's research interests span a wide range of domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Medical Image Processing, Computer Vision, Computational Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Biomedical Computing, Bioinformatics, Big Data Analytics, IoT Applications, and Fog Computing. He is a prolific researcher, with more than 260 high-impact publications in reputable ISI-indexed journals such as the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Access, Future Generation Computer Systems, Computers & Electrical Engineering, Journal of Medical Systems, Computational Science, and Journal of King Saud University – Computer and Information Sciences. To date, Dr. Mohammed has authored and co-authored over 260 publications in international journals and conferences, with more than 14548 citations and an H-index of 68, according to Google Scholar. He has actively collaborated with researchers from over 25 countries and has co-authored studies with more than 150 international scholars. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Mohammed has played an active editorial role, serving as Editor, Associate Editor, Guest Editor, and reviewer for over 100 international scientific journals, further demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in computer science and related fields.
