Dr. Sofia Trantza is currently working as Eudravigilance Deputy QPPV in Department of Adverse Reactions for National Organization for Medicines (EOF), Greece. From 2015-2016 she worked as Pharmacovigilance Manager in Creative Pharma Services SA, Greece. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in the year 2009. During 2012, she completed her MSc in Industrial Pharmacy from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Dr. Trantza was awarded the international Fritz Buhler scholarship from IFAPP Academy and Kings College, United States. She did expertise in STAMP user (method of MIT)-risk hazard analysis and CAST user (a part of STPA). Dr. Trantza is a Member of the Hellenic Association of Pharmacists (PEF), Member and former Treasurer for the NGO "World Pharmacists" and also Member of the Editorial Board of Annals of Clinical Trials and Vaccines Research. She completed her project on CAST analysis of the isotretinoin system for prevention of pregnancy in the UK with proposals towards its application as a global case study"; CAST i.e Causal Analysis based on STAMP (Systems Theoretic Accident Model and Processes). She has also done few publications in reputed journals. Dr. Trantza’s main research areas are Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety.
