Professor of Microbiology (since 29/2/2000). in Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture , Minia University, Minia – Egypt. Ph D degree in Microbiology, 1989. Department of Botany Faculty of Science - Glasgow University, Glasgow- UK. M Sc. Degree in Agricultural Science (Agricultural Microbiology), 1984. Department of Agricultural Microbiology – Faculty of Agriculture Minia University, Minia – Egypt. Isolation and purification of bacteriophages (bacterial viruses). Analysis of macromolecules : polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) of proteins; agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA; identification of DNA by Southern blotting.Winner of the International Scientific Publishing Award for the year 2019 from Minia University – Egypt.
