Fabrizio Russo is an Orthopedic Surgeon currently working in the Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome - Italy. In 2012 he has been awarded with the North American Spine Society (NASS) Research Traveling Fellowship and the Biospina Award by the Italian Society of Spinal Surgery (SICV&GIS), in 2014 he has been awarded with the Short-Term Scientific Mission Grant by European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) and in 2016 he has been awarded with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Honorary Mention during the 84th AAOS Annual Meeting, San Diego, CA – USA and the Best Paper Award of the International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine (ISSLS) during the SpineWeek 2016, Singapore. In 2018, he has been awarded with the Honorary Mention by the Orthopaedic Video Theater of AAOS annual meeting, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
