Biography

Jan Weichert is the head of prenatal medicine and gynecological sonography in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck. After completing his medical studies in Göttingen, he followed positions at university hospitals in Lübeck, Magdeburg and Hannover before he returned to Lübeck in 2007. His clinical interests include the application of volume ultrasound solutions in routine and targeted ultrasounds. In the last ten years, his scientific work has focused on the implementation of automized diagnostic techniques in the field of prenatal medicine and obstetrical ultrasounds.
