Biography

Dr. Richard Ferstenberg is currently working as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, USA. He is also the Director of GI Fellowship Education. Dr. Ferstenberg received his BA in 1975 from Columbia College, Columbia University, New York, USA and MD from Faculte Libre de Medicine, Lille, France in 1980. He did his Internship (Mixed) Medicine and Psychiatry at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT (1980-1981) and Residency at McGill University, Montreal, Canada (1981-1983). He received his Fellowship (Gastroenterology/Hepatology) from University of Miami School of Medicine (1986-1988).
