Biography

Dr. Michel Goldberg is working as a Professor of Dental Medicine in University René Descartes, Paris, France. In 1961, he received his degree from Medical Faculty of Paris, University René Descartes. He completed his Ph.D. (Doctor in Dental Sciences) in University René Descartes, Paris, France (1973). Later in 1983, he completed his Doctorate from University Pierre et Marie Curie. Dr. Goldberg was Former Member of the INSERM Committee “Clinical Investigation” (1991-1995). He was also the Member of the Interface Committee INSERM/Odontology (1995-present, coordinator). Dr. Goldberg was nominated expert in the Working Group on Fluoride (AFSSAPS) in 2008 and Working Group on the safety of Mercury, SCENIHR, and European Commission Bruxelles. He was member of the pool of Scientific Advisors on Risk Assessment-European Commission nomination (2009). Dr. Goldberg was in Board of Directors ICCBMT and past Vice-Chair of Education Committee FDI. He received several awards and honors from different organisations. He is an Editorial Board member of various international journals and also corresponding author of many articles. Dr. Goldberg’s research interests include Odontogenesis; Amelogenesis; Dentinogenesis; Stem cells; Pulp biology; Extracellular matrix proteins.
