Biography

Michel BOURIN is currently working as a psychiatrist in a centre for mental handicapped adults in Montredon des Corbières. He is also a Visiting Professor at University of Craiova (Romania). After completing his pharmacist and medical training at Tours University he was awarded degrees in neuropsychopharmacology, clinical pharmacology and general pharmacology in Paris and completed his psychiatric training in Nantes. He has received Doctor Honoris causa from University of Tartu (Estonia) and University of Craiova (Romania). He has published more than 400 original papers in the field of psychopharmacology and more than 200 educational/review papers, chapters in French and English. Dr. BOURIN was affiliated with several reputable organizations and societies in the past.
