Pratibha Mahale is a PhD researcher in the department of chemistry at University of Pennsylvania. Her PhD work focuses on the design of multifunctional materials using colloidal systems. Her work spans several material systems including nanoparticles (silica, polystyrene), 2D nanosheets (layered double hydroxide, Na-TSM), lead halide perovskites, and nanostructures (colloidal films, porous semiconductors, and metals). In addition to synthesis and design of these material systems, she is familiar with characterization techniques such as Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Atomic force microscopy (AFM), Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL), Optical microscopy, Langmuir-Blodgett technique.
1.Synthesis and assembly of nanoparticles 2.Synthesis, exfoliation, and assembly of 2D nanosheets 3.Colloidal assembly as templates for designing metamaterials, quantum materials, and electrochemical systems 4.Surface modification of nanostructures (Semiconductors and metals)
Scientific Archives is a global publisher initiated with the mission of ensuring equal opportunity for accessing science to research community all over the world. Spreading research findings with great relevance to all channels without any barrier is our goal. We want to overcome the challenges of Open Access with ensured quality and transparency.
