Biography

Tomasz Wasiluk, MD, is employed as an Assistant in Blood Collection and Processing Department at Regional Centre for Transfusion Medicine in Bialystok, Poland. After graduating from the Medical University of Bialystok in 2013, he completed a postgraduate training in Internal Medicine (Core Module). In 2020, he obtained specialist credentials in Transfusion Medicine. Since then he participates in postgraduate training for doctors and laboratory diagnosticians in the field of Transfusion Medicine. He is a member of the Polish Society of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine (PTHiT) and International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT). He is also finalizing his doctoral dissertation on the role of APRIL and BAFF proteins in the process of megakaryopoiesis, which he is carrying out at the Department of Hematology of the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland.
