Biography

I joined MPI-HLR as an independent group leader in 2021 and was an instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and the Division of Newborn Medicine at Boston Childrens Hospital. I received my PhD from Heidelberg University in Germany, and postdoc training at Harvard Medical School in USA.

Research Interest

My lab is interested in understanding how epigenetic information is inherited from generation to generation, and applying the identified fundamental epigenetic mechanisms to improve the health of human being and cure diseases.
