Biography

Dr. Essam A. El-Maghrabi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at University of Maryland hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. He was a Faculty and Attending Anesthesiologist at University of Maryland Hospital and Albert Einstein Medical Center. Dr. El-Maghrabi joined Anesthesia Associates of York, York, PA as Attending Anesthesiologist. He got elected for the Board of Directors three times and also served as the Chairman Elect of Executive Board of Directors at Anesthesia Associates of York, Partner, Member of Board of Directors and Chairman of Professional Review Committee. He received his graduation from Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria, Egypt. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University. He Completed his Internal Medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital and Anesthesiology Residency and Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He is a member of several reputed associations such as American Medical Association, York Medical Society, American Society of Anesthesiology, Maryland Society of Anesthesiology, Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and International Anesthesia Research Society.
