Biography

Dr. Wenjing Zhang is an assistant professor of department of GGI at the UTHSC. She received her M.D. from Sichuan University before she became an OB/GYN doctor at the West China Second University Hospital in 2003. Then she got her Ph.D. of Gynecologic Oncology from Sichuan University in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, she received post-doc training in cellular and molecular biology at the University of Louisville, Louisville. After that, she became an assistant professor in regenerative medicine research in the Sichuan University.

Research Interest

Dr. Wenjing Zhang's research interests include stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, copper biology and interaction between cancer and stem cells.
