Biography

Dr. Giuseppe Merra is currently working as Assistant Professor of Dietetics and Nutrition, Biomedicine and Prevention Department, Section of Clinical Nutrition and Nutrigenetic, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy.

He has received his Medical Degree from Catholic University of Sacred Heart, Rome, Italy in 2004. Later, he received his PhD in Oncobiology and Medical Oncology from Catholic University of Sacred Heart, Rome, Italy. From 2010-2019, Dr. Merra served as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Catholic University of Sacred Heart, Rome, Italy and also as a Staff Physician in Emergency Department at Catholic University of Sacred Heart, “Agostino Gemelli” General Hospital, Rome, Italy.

He is a member of several international Associations such as American Academy of Emergency Medicine (A.A.E.M.), American College of Emergency Physicians (A.C.E.P.), British Society of Gastroenterology (B.S.G.), Italian Society of Gastroenterology (SIGE), etc. He has published more than 80 papers in several reputed international journals.
