Biography

Dr. Gianni Testino is a Specialist in Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy. He is currently working as a Director for Unit of Addiction and Hepatology, ASL3 at San Martino Hospital, Genova, Italy. He is also the Coordinator for Ligurian Alcohological Regional Centre, ASL3 at San Martino Hospital and and Chief of the Study Centre “Self-Help-Group, Community Programs and Caregiver Training”. He is a Contract Professor at University of Genova, Italy. He served as National President for Italian Society on Alcohol. He is a Member of numerous working groups such as CSDA (Centro Servizi Documentazione Alcol) Working Group, Italian National Institute on Health, Roma, Italy. He was an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences. He is also an Organizer of numerous accredited scientific events and health prevention and promotion events. He has published over 500 scientific publications including 130 with impact factor (see PubMed). He is an invited reviewer for numerous international journals.
