Biography

Dr. Zhang Yanyan is a researcher and dual-appointed Principal Investigator at the Affiliated People’s Hospital of Chongqing University and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chongqing College). She earned her Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and completed postdoctoral training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA. Her research focuses on the regulatory roles of lncRNAs in T-cell function, tumor metabolism, and immunity, contributing to RNA-based therapeutic development. Dr. Zhang has led projects exceeding 5.7 million RMB, published in top-tier journals such as Nature Cell Biology, Cancer Research, and Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, and serves on editorial boards and review panels for major international journals and scientific foundations.
