Biography

Katarzyna Cwirynkalo is Associate Professor of Social sciences and serves as the Equal Rights Specialist at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. She is an experienced practitioner, educator, and researcher. Her work crosses a number of fields with a focus on (a) families of persons with disabilities:  birth,   adoptive, and foster parents of  children   with disabilities;   (b)   persons   with   intellectual   disabilities: adulthood,   parents   with   intellectual disabilities,   fathers   with   intellectual   disabilities,   discriminataion,   inclusive   research;   (c) students with special  educational needs: teachers’ attitudes toward inclusion, cooperation between teachers and parents. She is currently working on an inclusive research project involving co-researchers with intellectual disabilities
