Biography

Sun Jichao is an associate professor with the School of Water Resource and Environment, China University of Geosciences, Beijing. His research interests include ground sediment, groundwater, hydrology, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineering.
He received his Ph.D. in Geotechnical engineering from China University of Mining & Technology, Beijing, China. He has research experience in the hydraulic engineering department of Tsinghua University as a Post doctor and at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a visiting scholar.

Research Interest

Groundwater seepage mechanics, Water-sand interaction, Hydraulic engineering and water disasters, Modern water information technology and models, Geological disasters and prevention and control, Geotechnical mechanics, etc and water-sand-soil-mechanics-model related fields.
