Biography

Dr. Long is a professor in the Institute of Neuroscience and Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University in China. He received a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Life Science College, Sun Yat-sen University (2005), and completed postdoctoral research in Neurology from the Institute of Neuroscience, Guangzhou Medical University (2007). His research group used molecular biology, proteomics, pharmacology and other experimental methods to investigate the contribution of gene expression and abnormal metabolism to epilepsy and other neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative disorders..
