Dr. Bharat Vaidyanathan is a Scientist in the exploratory immunology team of EMD Serono Research and Development Institute in Massachusetts. He has completed his BSc in Microbiology from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta, India in 2008 and MSc in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta, India in 2010. Later in 2016, he has received his Ph.D in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis, from Weill Cornell Graduate School, Cornell University/Sloan Kettering Institute, New York, NY, USA. After a two year postdoctoral training in Immunobiology department at Yale University with Dr. Ruslan Medzhitov, Bharat joined EMD Serono, Merck KgaA to pursue therapeutic avenues for autoimmune diseases.
