Biography

Dr. Ashish Gurav is a Orthodontics Resident in the Department of Dentistry at BronxCare Health System, USA. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2007 at Nair Hospital Dental College, University of Health Sciences, India and received Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences in 2014 from The Graduate School, Augusta University, USA. Later in 2017, he received DMD from Penn Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, USA. He has published papers in inetrantional peer-reviewed journals and participated in several conferences.

Research Interest

Mucosal immunology, understanding the immunologic perspective of periodontal disease and regeneration, Molecular biology of tooth movements and translational biomechanical therapies.
